7-zone pocket spring

Zoned springs

Springs arranged in zones that are firmer or softer along the length of the bed. The 7-zone pocket spring (iPedic, Perfect Sleeper) has an extra lumbar zone and suits back and side sleepers, or a mix of both. The 5-zone pocket spring (Perfect Spine) follows your body's curves and limits motion transfer.

Foam encasement

Foam encasement

Foam around the edges of the spring unit that firms up the border and helps keep the mattress in shape. The ventilated version has holes so air flows from edge to edge and the mattress stays dry.
